David Buck of Castli Photography, started in the darkroom at an early age. This later evolved into a 28 year career in law enforcement forensics, photographing assignments and then processing those negatives. David received his photo training at the Canadian Police College in Ottawa, and became proficient not only with color, but with many B & W films that were especially suited for forensic work. When digital cameras began to take over in early 2000, David lept into the technology and embraced the artistic and technical freedom it unleashed. After retiring from law enforcement forensics in 2008, David co-founded Castli Photography. Combining years of technical and practical experience in photography, and using the latest Photoshop and Lightroom software, David rounds out the team of Castli Photography. David is married and has three adult children, and one grandchild.
