The fingerprint portrait is a positive impression of who you are, a unique personal keepsake or gift. It can be a single image of your fingerprint, or combined with one or several headshots. Distinguish your home or office with a distinct piece of personal art. It can be done for children as well as adults, in a series for a family or for corporate gifts.
It's a multi-step process:
- First we take several portrait head-shots;
- Next, we take inked fingerprints with actual CSI grade proper equipment;
- Then we examine each fingerprint with a magnifier to determine which presents the most unique and interesting friction ridge detail;
- Using macro photography techniques, we photograph the fingerprint to capture high resolution detail; and
- The images are then combined in a montage to complete the process, with varying backgrounds, colors and sizes available.
