Portrait Photography / Photo Restoration - Aug 2nd 2010
This was a very interesting and enjoyable assignment:
- Take new portrait photographs of a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces;
- scan and repair two old photographs, of the member himself and the member's grandfather; and
- combine the three into a new timeless composite portrait.
The first image is a separate portrait of the member in the Navy Forge cap.
The second image is the composite of the member in the blue Peacekeeper's Beret, combined with the old restored scanned images.
